The Still Spirits Production Packs have been specifically designed to produce high qaulity spirit in an easy to use and economic manner. There are two main variations of these packs, the 8kg Still Spirits Classic Production Pack and the 6kg Still Spirits Triple Distilled Production Pack. These packs come with everything ingredients wise to make the raw neat spirit, removing the hassle of measuring and seeking multiple elements to make your wash. The pack includes the specially blended carbohydrates and carbon – Still Spirits Turbo Sugar, in the 6kg production packs they include the Still Spirits Triple Distilled Yeast and in the 8kg production pack includes the Still Spirits Classic Turbo Yeast, both packs include Still Spirits Liquid Carbon, Still Spirits Turbo Clear and the Still Spirits EZ Carbon Filteration Cartridge as standard. This ingredients pack is everything to get your first batch on its way, also known as a “wash”. This production pack has been specifically designed to produce the highest quality beverage alcohol with the lowest level impurities. It achieves this by using the special blend of turbo sugars and triple distilled yeast to make the alcohol, then to help its growth in the fermenter we add liquid carbon to help absorb the impurities while it ferments. After fermentation we use the turbo clear to help settle and excess carbohydrates and yeast to the bottom of the fermenter. We then decant the clear wash off and distill using the Turbo 500 distillation unit.
You will also have a replacement Still Spirits EZ Filter Carbon Cartridge which is used in the finishing of the spirit once diluted to remove any remaining impurities from the alcohol. Consult the Still Spirits EZ Filteration System Page for further details about the use of the filtering system
The Still Spirits 6kg Triple Distilled Production Pack produces ~6.5L at 40% once distilled, diluted and filtered.
The Still Spirits 8kg Classic Production Pack produces ~9.5L at 40% once distilled, diluted and filtered
There is 1/10th of the impurities in the 6kg production pack, but as a result of its much higher quality product, produces ~30% less product. It is a sliding scale quantity for quality, but you will find that most distilling hobbist seek the best they can make and will only use the 6kg production pack and never stray to other ingredients.
